Quanto Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

• Account and profile information. Name, email address, mobile phone number, company or organization name, job title, and password when you create an account or are invited to an organization.
• Organization and project data. Project details, bid packages, scope line items, bid submissions, pricing, vendor information, compliance documents (such as certificates of insurance and W-9 forms), notes, ratings, and related procurement records you or your organization upload or create.
• Payment information. Billing contact details and payment method information when you purchase credits or subscriptions. Payment card details are processed by our third-party payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
• Communications. Information you provide when you contact support, respond to surveys, or otherwise communicate with us.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, features used, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Information from third parties:

• Information from organizations that invite you to participate in a bid process, from integrations you or your organization enable, and from service providers that help us operate the Services.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including bid intake, bid leveling, analysis, comparison, and audit trail features;
• Create and manage accounts, organizations, and permissions;
• Process transactions, credits, and subscriptions;
• Send administrative and transactional communications, such as bid invitations, deadline reminders, addenda notifications, account notices, and security alerts;
• Send text (SMS) messages where you have opted in, as described in Section 4;
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
• Monitor, secure, and protect the Services, including preventing fraud and abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations; and
• Develop aggregated or de-identified insights, such as anonymized cost benchmarking, that do not identify you or your organization.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Within your organization and bid processes. Information you submit as part of a bid process is shared with the parties involved in that process according to the platform's permission rules. Vendors participating in a bid process never have access to competing vendors' pricing.
• Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf (such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics) under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quanto, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. If Quanto is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

Mobile Information Non-Sharing Statement: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from Quanto (for example, bid deadline reminders, invitation notifications, site visit confirmations, or account alerts), the following terms apply:

• Message frequency varies. The number of messages you receive depends on your account activity, the bid processes you participate in, and your notification preferences. You will typically receive messages only in connection with events relevant to your projects and bids.
• Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages sent and received.
• Opt-out. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message, and no further texts will be sent unless you opt back in.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message or contact us at the address below for assistance.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

As stated in Section 3, your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, maintain accurate procurement and audit records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Because the Services are designed to provide defensible procurement records, bid and award history associated with an organization may be retained as part of that organization's records even after an individual user's account is closed.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and organization-level data isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• Account information. You can review and update your account information through your account settings or by contacting us.
• Email communications. You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. We may still send you transactional or administrative messages.
• Text messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, as described in Section 4.
• Cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law, such as the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or allow integrations with third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.
